Save the Cat is a comedy showcase and charity fundraiser at 29th Street Ballroom on Wednesday, September 9, from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's run by New Hope Animal Rescue, and the lineup features Holly Hart, Amy Shanker, Austen Silver, and Sean Saldana.
The night is more than just a standup bill. New Hope describes it as a showcase that brings together top local storytellers and Austin's rising comedians, with live music and raffle items throughout. There will also be adoptable pets on hand, so if you're actually looking for a new companion, you can meet some of the animals the rescue is working to rehome while you're there.
