Salty Sow's Back-To-The-Future Menu

The Salty Sow is bringing back its old favorites with the Back-To-The-Future Menu, which they also call the Throwback Menu. It runs Mondays and Tuesdays from 6 PM to close, starting in August 2026, at their spot on 1917 Manor Road in Austin.

The whole idea is a trip back to 2012. They're pulling some of the restaurant's favorite items from that year and serving them at their original prices. A few of the big names on the list are Truffle Deviled Eggs, All-Natural Crisp Chicken Thighs, and Bananas Foster Beignets with local honey. Those sit alongside rotating weekly specials, so the menu changes a bit from one night to the next.

There's a reason they're looking back at 2012. That was the year The Salty Sow won Best New Restaurant in Do512's Best of 2012 Survey, so these are the dishes that helped them make a name for themselves. If you've been coming here since the early days, this is a chance to get the same food at the same price it was when the place first opened. If you want to arrive early, the venue runs a daily happy hour from 4:30 to 6 PM with small plates priced between $6 and $10. The Back-To-The-Future Menu kicks in right after that, on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6 PM to close.
