Mohawk is at 912 Red River, one of the multi-level venues that regularly takes home Best Live Music Venue in the Austin Music Poll. The outdoor stage is surrounded by balconies with good sight lines and sound, and there are multiple bars to choose from. Inside, there's a cozier performance space for the smaller sets. It's a spot that's hosted outsized SXSW appearances by the Stooges, the Specials, and X, so it's well-acquainted with a loud night.
