Rock tribute night featuring Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, and pop-punk/emo covers presented by Come and Take It Productions.
Rock Tribute Night hits Come and Take It Live on Friday, August 14, with three tribute acts on one bill. It's presented by Come and Take It Productions, and the night is built around cover bands rather than original acts, so you'll be hearing familiar songs instead of new material.
Three different sounds make up the lineup. Oof Fighters do a Foo Fighters tribute, and Radically Poetic cover Rage Against the Machine. The third act, Taking Back Tacos, is a pop-punk and emo cover band. Between them, the night runs from the melodic rock of the Foo Fighters to the heavy, political edge of Rage, and then over to the pop-punk and emo of the early 2000s. It's a wide spread, so the setlist changes styles as the night goes on.
Because it's a tribute night, the focus is on the songs you already know. You'll get a Foo Fighters set, a Rage Against the Machine set, and a pop-punk and emo set, all on the same stage. It's an all-ages show, so it's open to everyone regardless of age.
