Author R.M. Gray presents her book Cursebreaker at BookPeople, with a session on writing craft and worldbuilding followed by a book signing.
R.M. Gray is coming to BookPeople on Friday, September 4, to talk about Cursebreaker, the finale to the Nightweaver series. The session starts at 6 PM on the second floor of the bookstore at 603 North Lamar Boulevard.
If you haven't kept up with the series, Nightweaver is set in a world of pirates, magic, and mystery. It's made Gray a USA Today, Indie National, and New York Times bestseller, and it earned an Amazon Best Book of 2025. Cursebreaker wraps things up, following the pirate Aster Oberon as she hunts the evil queen Morana and the three mythical treasures Morana is after. There's also a deluxe limited edition of the book with stenciled sprayed edges and exclusive design elements.
Gray writes fantasy, YA, and romance, and often speaks about writing craft and worldbuilding. She's known for meeting readers in person and for her two giant dogs, whose names she says she took from characters in The Sword in the Stone. This Austin stop is part of a tour of bookstore visits, festivals, and author events.
