Stand-up comedy special of Reem Edan, whose tour The Diversity Fire has sold out shows worldwide.
Reem Edan is playing Cap City Comedy Club on Tuesday, November 10, at 7:30 PM. She's a stand-up comedian, actress, and content creator whose work has pulled in tens of millions of views online, and this is her bringing that to an Austin stage.
Edan is a Colorado native and a first-generation Arab American, and that background is a good way to get a sense of what she does. She's known for witty stand-up and character-driven sketches that blend a cross-cultural perspective with relatable humor. Her debut tour, The Diversity Fire, has sold out shows around the world and built a global fanbase along the way.
She's worked across a few different formats, too. She's performed at the Netflix Is A Joke Comedy Festival, appeared on The Stand Up Sketch Show and Sirius XM, and was selected for NBC's Late Night Writing Program, the Warner Bros. Creator Program, and as a writer on the Disney TV Discovers Showcase. Her most recent special, Ethnic, Ambiguous & Single, came out through Dry Bar Comedy.
