Author Rae Carson presents her book Monster, Monarch, Maiden in a discussion with moderator Jasmine Skye, followed by a book signing.
Rae Carson is coming to BookPeople on Thursday, August 27, to talk about her new book, Monster, Monarch, Maiden. It's a stand-alone fantasy, described as a sweeping adventure and a slow-burn romance for readers who enjoy Sarah J. Maas, Ava Reid, and Rebecca Ross. The session runs about 45 to 60 minutes, and Carson will be in conversation with moderator Jasmine Skye.
If you're not already familiar with her work, Carson has a substantial track record behind her. She's written two bestselling and award-winning trilogies, along with the stand-alone novels Any Sign of Life and The Empire of Dreams. Her debut, The Girl of Fire and Thorns, was a William C. Morris Award and an Andre Norton Award finalist, and Walk on Earth a Stranger won the Western Writers of America Spur Award and made the 2015 National Book Award longlist. Originally from California, she now lives in Ohio.
After the discussion, there's a signing line. To get your book signed, you'll need to buy a copy of Monster, Monarch, Maiden or something of equal value from BookPeople. Seating is first-come, first-served and not guaranteed, and there's no livestream or recording of the session, so you'll have to be there in person to catch it.
