Radio Talent Show

The Radio Talent Show is back at Radio Coffee & Beer on Tuesday, September 15, starting at 7 PM. It's presented by Radio/East, and it's become a regular fixture at the venue, which holds the show every third Tuesday of the month. If you've been before, you know the drill: it's an open-format night where the stage is open to all ages, and the winner walks away with a $50 cash prize.

Because it's open to all ages, you'll see a real mix on any given night—kids and adults sharing the same bill, and a wide range of acts competing for that cash. The $50 prize is the main draw for the performers, and since the format is open, the lineup can swing from music to comedy to whatever else someone feels like bringing to the stage. It's one of those nights where you don't really know what you're going to get until the first act kicks off.

If you're thinking about performing, you'll need to sign up in advance. You do that by emailing radiosgottalent@gmail.com. Since it's a recurring event, there's always another chance if you miss this one, but the September date is the next one on the calendar. The show runs every third Tuesday of the month, so if you're still polishing your act, you can aim for a later month.
