A night of live music featuring Quinn Decker's solo residency with supporting acts S.L. Houser, Ernest Campos, and Jake Ames at the historic Hole in the Wall venue.
Quinn Decker takes the stage at Hole in the Wall on Tuesday, July 28, as part of a residency that has seen him holding down every Tuesday in July. It's a full night of music, with three other acts opening the way before he closes it out.
The bill runs through the evening: S.L. Houser starts at 9 PM, Ernest Campos follows at 10 PM, and Jake Ames takes over at 11 PM, leading up to Quinn Decker's set at midnight. If you're coming for the whole run, you'll be there for five hours of live music, one act after another.
There's some history to the room. Hole in the Wall opened in 1974 in the campus area and spent its early years as a folkie hangout, a favorite stage for Townes Van Zandt, Nanci Griffith, and Blaze Foley. From there it became a breeding ground for punk, cosmic country, and alternative, launching the careers of Timbuk3, Fastball, Spoon, and Shakey Graves. It's a historic two-stage dive with a collective capacity of a couple hundred that still books live music every night and has served as a proving ground for new bands. It shuttered briefly in 2002 and came dangerously close to being priced out in 2015, but it's still here.

Doors open at 8 PM, so you've got an hour to grab a drink and settle in before the first set. The music starts at 9 PM and runs until well past midnight, with S.L. Houser, Ernest Campos, and Jake Ames each taking a slot before Quinn Decker closes the night. The venue is at 2538 Guadalupe St. in Austin.
