A magic variety show featuring Austin's talented magicians performing intimate illusions in an all-ages setting.
Probably Magic is coming to Fallout Theater on Sunday, August 16, at 7:30 PM. It's a magic variety show that brings together several of Austin's working magicians for one night on the same stage.
The show is billed as a showcase for the city's funniest and most talented magicians. The performers who appear here usually specialize in smaller, more intimate venues and are mostly seen at private events, so this is one of the few times you'll find them performing for a general audience. The variety format means you get a few different acts in one go rather than a single performer carrying the whole night.
It's an all-ages show, so it works as a family outing as much as a night out with friends. The Austin Chronicle frames it as a chance to see why magic is better live and to see some of the best magic you'll find outside of Las Vegas. If you've only ever seen magic on a screen, this is the kind of thing that reminds you why it's a different experience when you're in the room.
