A juried print fair featuring up to 30 artists selling prints, with a PrintAustin table showcasing printmaking trade materials and merchandise.
Print Rodeo returns for its fifth edition on Sunday, September 6, at Central Machine Works, the brewery and beer hall in South Austin. It's a one-day print fair, and this year it's back with the same straightforward setup: a juried group of up to 30 artists showing and selling prints throughout the day.
If you've been before, you know how it works. The artists bring their work, set up their tables, and spend the day talking about their process and selling prints. Because it's a juried selection, you're getting a curated mix rather than a random assortment, and since it's a fair, you can browse at your own pace. It's a good way to find something for your walls without having to hunt through a dozen different galleries.
Alongside the artists, there's a PrintAustin table on hand. They'll be stocking the Print Trade and other merch, so if you're looking for printmaking supplies or gear to go with the art you're browsing, that's where you'll find it. The whole thing is open to all ages, so it's as easy to bring the kids as it is to go on your own.
