Monthly bluegrass night hosted by Gus Miller with a house band of four or five players and special guests. Free concert with drinks and food trucks available.
Gus Miller hosts another edition of Pickin' & Sippin', his monthly bluegrass night, at Meanwhile Brewing Company on Wednesday, August 26. It's a free concert that starts at 7 PM, and it's open to all ages.
The night is built around a house band of four or five players, and from there it opens up: a steady stream of special guests and surprise sit-ins from some of Austin's bluegrass musicians join in throughout the evening. Because the guest list changes, the lineup on stage shifts as the night goes on, and you'll hear different combinations of players sitting in together rather than one set list from a single band.

Meanwhile Brewing is at 3901 Promontory Point Dr, and the stage is outdoors, so there's seating nearby to watch the music. Since it's outside, the night may be cancelled in inclement weather. The taproom has drinks, and onsite food trucks serve food, so you can eat and drink while you listen. It's a free concert—no RSVP required and no tickets to buy—so you can just show up. The music starts at 7 PM.
