Pat Byrne is playing The Saxon Pub on Monday, September 21, with his full band. He's an Austin-based Irish singer-songwriter, and the set will be billed as the Pat Byrne Band.
If you're not familiar with him, Byrne blends a raspy, melodic soul with earnest roots-rock songwriting, drawing as much on his Irish heritage as on contemporary Americana. He's played the 30A Festival, SXSW, the Kerrville Folk Festival, and AmericanaFest, and his sophomore U.S. release is titled Into the Light.
