ACL Fest Nights concert featuring the Berlin-based electronic duo Parcels with support from the Australian act Velvet Trip at Stubb's.
Parcels play Stubb's on Saturday, October 3, as part of the ACL Fest Nights series. They're the headliner for the evening, with Velvet Trip opening.
It's a bit of a global pairing on one stage: Parcels hail from Berlin, and Velvet Trip comes from Sydney, Australia. Both bands are touring, and this is one of the stops on the way. If you've followed Parcels, you know they've spent the last few years working out of Berlin, and this show puts them in Austin during the festival window.
Velvet Trip takes the first slot. They're coming all the way from Sydney to open, so they'll be the first act of the night. Parcels follow as the main feature. Between the two, you've got a lineup that spans two continents on a single bill.
