Austin indie rock band Of The Trees performs live at the Moody Amphitheater, with support from Jade Cicada, Mr. Bill and Ferrofluid.
Of The Trees plays the Moody Amphitheater on Saturday, September 26. It's a full bill, with Jade Cicada, Mr. Bill and Ferrofluid on the program alongside them.
If you're not familiar with the venue, the Moody Amphitheater is part of Waterloo Park downtown, at 1401 Trinity St. It's a 5,000-capacity space set in an 11-acre green space that includes hike-and-bike trails and the Hill Country Gardens. The park has been home to a string of authentically Austin experiences since 1978, including Spamarama, Pachanga, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Mess with Texas and the Ice Cream Festival. It's one of those spots that feels like a proper part of the city's outdoor life, so it's a good place to spend a Saturday afternoon and evening.

Doors open at 4:30 PM, and with the park surrounding the amphitheater, you've got plenty of room to settle in before the music starts. Between the three acts on the bill, there's enough to keep you there for the whole run. If you're coming from across town, keep in mind the venue is right in the middle of downtown, so give yourself some time to get in and find your spot.
