Nothing are playing Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheatre on Saturday, November 7. The Philadelphia shoegaze outfit is touring their fifth studio album, a short history of decay, which came out February 27, 2026, on Run For Cover Records.

Frontman Domenic Palermo describes the record as a final chapter in a story that began with their 2014 debut, Guilty of Everything. It follows 2020's The Great Dismal, and the two together span over a decade of the band's work. The album was co-produced with Nicholas Bassett of Whirr and mixed by Sonny Diperri, who has worked with DIIV and Julie. Harpist Mary Lattimore and Corridos musician Jesus Ricardo Ayub Chavira also contributed to the recordings.

There's a new lineup behind the songs. Palermo is joined by Doyle Martin from Cloakroom, Bobb Bruno of Best Coast, Zachary Jones of MSC and Manslaughter 777, and Cam Smith from Ladder to God. The music draws on Palermo's personal experience with essential tremors, which now influence his vocal delivery, and it blends industrial textures with emotional clarity. That's a good way to frame what you'll hear: the heavy, distorted wall of sound the band is known for, but with the vocals and the songwriting sitting right up front.
