Austin blues band Moving Blues performs live at Jester King Brewery in the open-air Pole Barn venue; no cover charge, all ages welcome.
Moving Blues play Jester King Brewery on Saturday, September 5, from 5 PM to 8 PM. They're an Austin-based blues band that describes its sound as original, raucous blues and rock and roll. The set is led by Mike Lindner, known as 'El Michael,' on guitar and vocals, with Mark 'Suitcase' Stedman on harp and backup vocals, Ryan Randolph on bass, and Marc Nelipovich on drums. Joining them for the night is special guest Alastair Greene on guitar.
Jester King is more than just a taproom: it's a brewery, restaurant, kitchen, farm, and event hall spread across a 165-acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. The band plays the Pole Barn, the brewery's open-air event space. The brewery itself is open from 11 AM to 9 PM, so you can arrive well before the music starts and stay after it wraps up. The show is all ages, and leashed pets are welcome, which makes it an easy one to bring the kids or the dog along for. There's no cover and no tickets to buy, so you just show up. The music runs from 5 PM to 8 PM at 13187 Fitzhugh Rd.
