Movie in the Park: The Mandalorian and Grogu

The Mandalorian and Grogu is playing at the Delores Duffie Recreation Center on Friday, September 4. It's a special screening of the movie, and since it's a community center event, it's free to attend. The whole thing runs from 6 PM to 9 PM, so you've got a few hours to settle in.

If you're into the costume side of things, there's a Star Wars costume contest from 6 PM to 6:30 PM, which gives you a half-hour to show off whatever you've put together before the movie starts. The screening itself kicks off at 6:30 PM, so if you're just coming for the film, you can skip the contest and still be there when the lights go down. There will be snacks available, too, so you can grab something to eat while you watch.

The screening is held in the Doris Miller Auditorium inside the Delores Duffie Recreation Center, at 2300 Rosewood Ave in Austin, TX 78702. It's a free event, and the movie starts at 6:30 PM.
