Bluegrass and newgrass concert by Mountain Grass Unit at the legendary Antone's Nightclub in Austin.
Mountain Grass Unit plays Antone's Nightclub on Saturday, September 12, starting at 8 PM. They're a bluegrass and newgrass band that blends roots music with stacked harmonies, virtuosic picking and jam freedom. They've sold out more than 30 shows and won the IBMA Momentum Band award, and their recordings have been produced by Vance Powell.
Antone's is a legendary Austin room, and it's famous for its Po Boys—a recipe created by Clifford's uncle Jalal in 1962. The show is general admission standing room, with limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you're hoping for a chair, you'll want to get there early. Tickets are $43.
