Outdoor Zumba fitness sessions led by certified instructor Vivian Arreaza at the Meredith Heritage Tree Deck in Waterloo Park, suitable for all experience levels.
Vivian Arreaza is leading a series of morning Zumba classes at the Meredith Heritage Tree Deck in Waterloo Park, and the next one is Saturday, October 3. It's part of a larger run that started on September 26 and keeps going through October 10, so if you can't make this one, there's another chance coming up soon.
Arreaza is a certified Zumba instructor, and she turns the deck into an open-air dance floor. The choreography is easy to follow, set to upbeat Latin and international rhythms, and the sessions are built for every experience level—from first-timers to seasoned dancers. It's the kind of thing you can just show up to and jump into without worrying about whether you've got the moves down.
The classes are part of the Waterloo Greenway Conservancy's free outdoor fitness programming, which brings the community together through music and movement in the natural beauty of Waterloo Park. It's a good way to spend a Saturday morning outdoors rather than inside a gym.
