Monster truck show with robot battles, wheel races, and rides in real monster trucks.
Monster Truck Wars is coming to the Luedecke Arena at Travis County Exposition Center on October 3 and 4, and it's more than just the trucks. The whole weekend is built around three different things: monster trucks, robot battles, and wheel races. The monster trucks are the main event, but the robots and the racing run alongside them, so you're getting a few different kinds of competition in one go.
One of the things that sets this apart from a standard show is the rides. They're letting people actually ride in real monster trucks, which is a far cry from just watching them from the stands. If you've ever wondered what it's like to sit in one of those things, this is your chance to do it.
There are three showtimes to choose from over the weekend. On Saturday, October 3, there's a matinee at 12 PM and an evening show at 6 PM. If you'd rather do Sunday, there's a 2 PM show on October 4. Having the choice between a midday or evening slot makes it a bit easier to fit into your plans, whether you're bringing the kids or just heading out for the day.
