Andre Hayward leads the Monday night jazz jam at The Elephant Room on Monday, August 24, 2026. He's heading up the Andre Hayward Quintet for the evening, with Ross Margitza on piano, Aiden Berg on bass, and Mike Koenning on drums. It's a full quintet on the stand, so you'll have the trombone, piano, bass, and drums all in the mix.
If you're not familiar with Hayward, he's a top-tier jazz trombonist who's played lead with both The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. He's known for a smooth, mellow tone that's kept him at the top of the A List, and that's exactly what he's bringing to the room.
