Mommy & Me Poolside Playdate

Goldfish Swim School is hosting a Mommy & Me Poolside Playdate on Friday, September 4, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. It's a morning built for moms and their little ones, and the whole thing is set up as a two-part session: it starts with memory-making crafts that parents and children do together, and then everyone cools off and splashes around during open swim by the pool. The craft part comes first, so you'll have some time to sit and create something with your kid before the water takes over.

If you're not already a member there, it's a low-stakes way to get your child in the water with you. The open swim portion is just that—open swim—so you can let them splash around at their own pace. Between the crafts and the pool, it's a full morning's worth of activity that keeps you both occupied without needing to plan a whole day's itinerary. The session runs for an hour and a half, which is usually just enough time to get the creative part done and still get a good soak in before the noon cutoff.

General admission starts at $7. There are a few details to keep in mind about the tickets: every swimmer entering the water needs one, but guests who aren't getting in the pool don't need a ticket. If you're already a Goldfish member, you swim for free, though you still need to acquire a ticket to hold your spot.
