Market with 120+ local and national makers selling handmade goods, art, home decor, jewelry, clothing and accessories, with free admission for children under 12.
Markets for Makers brings its Austin Fall Market to the Palmer Events Center on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, with more than 120 local and national makers gathered under one roof. It's a handmade goods market in the truest sense: you'll find art, home dΓ©cor, jewelry, clothing, accessories and food all in one place, with the makers themselves there behind the tables.
There's a bit more to it than just shopping, too. You get a complimentary market tote to fill as you go, and there are free DIY stations to hang out at and themed photo walls for when you want to document the day. It's pitched as a family-friendly outing, and kids under 12 get in free, so it's easy to bring the whole crew along without worrying about the cost of the little ones.
If you're planning to spend the whole weekend there, the VIP ticket is the way to go. It covers admission for both days, gives you a dedicated VIP line to skip the main queue, and lets you in for a preview hour on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM, before the general public arrives. You also walk away with a special-edition cotton market tote.
