Lynn Crossett

Lynn Crossett plays the Holiday Inn on Thursday, September 24, as part of the South West Folk Alliance Conference. He describes his work as songwriting-focused Indie Americana, and that's a fair summary: the songs come first, and the Americana sound is what carries them.

Crossett is a San Marcos native who splits his time between Central Texas and Southern California, so this is a home-state date. He's spent the last few years building a following on the Americana circuit, and the charts back it up. His 2022 album, In the Company of a Song, debuted at No. 6 on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Americana Country Album Chart and stayed in the top ten for eight weeks. He followed that with Autumn to August, released on June 20, 2025, which debuted at No. 4 and climbed to No. 1 the following week. That record was tracked with Grammy Award-winning producer Lloyd Maines, a name that carries a lot of weight in this particular corner of the music world.

Since then, Crossett has committed to music full-time, and he's been filling his calendar with an increasingly ambitious national and international touring schedule. This Austin date is part of the South West Folk Alliance Conference (SWRFA) 2026, so it's one stop in a larger run of performances.
