A sustainable clothing swap fundraiser where proceeds support life-saving care and supplies for rescue dogs, with local brews and adoptable dogs present.
Love-A-Bull is hosting a clothing swap at Hopsquad Brewing Co. on Saturday, August 1, from 1 PM to 5 PM. It's a benefit event, and every dollar raised goes toward life-saving care and supplies for rescue dogs.
Love-A-Bull is an Austin-based rescue run by Pit Bull and Bully Breed Dog Rescue, an organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of abandoned and neglected dogs, with a particular focus on pit bulls. The swap is framed as a sustainable treasure hunt that doubles as a fundraiser: you bring gently used clothing and accessories to swap, and the afternoon is rounded off with local brews and a chance to meet some of the rescue's Adopt-A-Bulls.
This is one of several ways the rescue stays active in the community. Their wider program includes a monthly Pittie Pack Walk on the first Sunday of each month, puppy yoga sessions, dog adoptions, a co-ed soccer tournament, a dog-friendly vendor market called All About Dogs ATX, and an annual Pit Bull Awareness Month Silent Auction.

On the day, you can bring your own bag and fill it for $20, or buy a Love-A-Bull tote for $30, which comes with a bonus bag. Each additional bag is $15, and you get $5 off your first bag if you donate to the swap. The whole thing runs from 1 PM to 5 PM at Hopsquad Brewing Co., 2307 Kramer Lane, Austin, TX 78758.
