A children's craft workshop where participants create a frame wrapped in yarn at the Michaels store.
Lil Witching Hours is hosting a children's workshop at Michaels - Brodie Lane on Saturday, October 10. The project is a yarn-wrapped frame, and the whole thing runs from 10 AM to 12 PM.
If you've never done it, yarn wrapping is a simple way to change up a plain frame. You take a piece of yarn and wrap it around the edges of the frame, over and over, until the wood or plastic is completely covered in color. It's the kind of craft that's easy for kids to pick up and hard to mess up, so it works well for a morning activity. Once the frame is wrapped, you've got a finished piece to put a photo in, and the process is more about the doing than the result.
It's a two-hour window, which gives plenty of time to get the wrapping done without rushing. If you're bringing kids, that's a good chunk of a Saturday morning sorted. The workshop is part of the Lil Witching Hours series, and it's held inside the store, so you'll be working right there in the aisles.
