Indie-folk acts Audrey Price and Boomershack perform live as part of the 'Let's Fund Good' series, with all proceeds supporting The SAFE Alliance.
Audrey Price and Boomershack play Radio/East on Sunday, August 2, from 4 PM to 7 PM. Both are Austin-based indie-folk acts, and they're sharing the bill as part of the 'Let's Fund Good' summer series, a collaboration between KUTX and the Interplanetary Help Desk.
The series is built around a simple, recurring format: six live concerts and six album parties, with 100% of ticket sales from each show going to one of 24 local Austin nonprofits. This particular afternoon belongs to The SAFE Alliance, an Austin nonprofit that works to stop abuse by providing shelter, counseling, legal assistance, and other essential services to children, adults, and families who have experienced it. Every ticket sold for this show goes directly to their work.
On the music side, you've got two local indie-folk acts on one bill. Audrey Price and Boomershack both play within that folk-leaning territory, so it's a consistent afternoon of music rather than a jump between wildly different sounds. The show runs from 4 PM to 7 PM, which puts it in that late-afternoon window—early enough to be out of the house by mid-afternoon and home by dinner.
