KUTX Connections: Evergreen

KUTX Connections is coming to Central Machine Works on Thursday, October 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. It's a free event, though you'll need to RSVP to get in.

KUTX bills the night as a festive mixer for public radio enthusiasts—an evening of mixing and mingling, community building, conversation, music and swag. The Austin edition gathers around the seasonal offerings of 20 vendors curated by East Austin Market, with music provided by a special guest KUTX DJ. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and the organizers extend a special thank you to Central Machine Works for hosting the night.

If you're a regular listener, it's a chance to hang out with other people who keep the station on in the background. The whole thing is built around the social side of it: the mingling, the conversation, and the community. Between the music and the vendors, there's plenty of room to drift in and out of conversations throughout the night.

It runs from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Thursday, October 29, at Central Machine Works. Entry is free, but an RSVP is required to attend.
