Jazz vocalist Kenny Williams performs live at the Parker Jazz Club, with proceeds benefiting the Texas Jazz Society.
Kenny Williams is playing the Parker Jazz Club on Thursday, August 13, at 7:30 PM. It's a homecoming of sorts: Williams is an Austin native who studied voice at the University of Texas, and he's spent the last twenty-five years performing both across the country and abroad.
For a good chunk of that time, he was in New York City, where he spent nearly a decade on Broadway. He made his debut in Disney's The Lion King, and before that, he cut his teeth as an actor and entertainer in the clubs on 6th Street and at ZACH Theatre. He's known as a vocalist whose spirit, energy, and passion keep audiences coming back, and this show brings that voice back to the city where he started.
If you can't make it in person, the performance is also available via livestream, so you can catch it from home. All proceeds from the night benefit the Texas Jazz Society, a local nonprofit.
