Grammy-nominated blues singer-songwriter Kathy Murray and her band The Kilowatts live in concert.
Kathy Murray & The Kilowatts play The Saxon Pub on Sunday, August 30. Murray is a Grammy-nominated blues singer-songwriter, and she'll be on stage with her band, The Kilowatts, for a full live set.
If you're coming to the show, it's worth having a bit of her discography in your head first. Her most recent album, Fully Charged, came out on February 18, 2022, through Blue Heart Records. Before that, she put out Premonition of... in 2018, which got a good deal of critical attention. Between the two, there's a few years of songwriting to pull from, so you can get a sense of where she's been before you see her live.
As a Grammy-nominated artist, she's built her name around the blues, and that's the sound you'll find here. The Kilowatts are her band, and they'll be backing her throughout the night. It's a singer-songwriter at the center, with a full band around her, so the set will be built on her voice and the songs she writes.
