Live music performance by the Invoke Quartet at the craft beer and kolache venue.
Invoke Quartet plays Batch Craft Beer + Kolaches on Monday, July 20, with the set starting at 7:30 PM. It's a single-act bill, so the quartet is the whole evening.
If you haven't spent much time there, Batch is one of those Austin spots that does a few things at once. It's a bar, a coffee house, and a live-music venue, and it's known for Texas-Czech kolaches—both savory and sweet—with fillings like PB&J, Micklethwait brisket, and pickle and Swiss. There's also a full beer and coffee selection, so you can lean toward a pint or a cup depending on the hour. The kolaches earned the place a Critics Pick for Best Place to Carb Load in the Austin Chronicle's 2017 Best of Austin Awards, which gives you a fair idea of the kind of food they're doing.

Between the beer, the coffee, and the kolaches, it's the kind of room that works as well for a casual Monday night as it does for a proper show. The music starts at 7:30 PM, and admission is free. Batch is at 3220 Manor Rd. in East Austin.
