Hovvdy are playing Mohawk Austin on Monday, October 26, 2026. It's a hometown show for the duo, who've been a part of the Austin scene since they formed back in 2014.
Charlie Martin and Will Taylor are the two behind the name. Over the years, they've built a discography that runs from Taster and Cranberry through True Love and their self-titled 2024 release. The sound is indie pop with introspective lyrics and melodic soundscapes, and they've come to be known for a lo-fi 'pillowcore' style that's found an audience well beyond Texas. Along the way, they've collaborated with Lomelda and earned admiration from artists like boygenius.
Since this is a single-bill night, the set will be all Hovvdy. With a self-titled record out from 2024, there's new material in the mix alongside the older stuff from Taster, Cranberry, and True Love.
