Holly Frost

Holly Frost plays the Lake Travis Community Library on Friday, August 28, from 3 PM to 4 PM. She's a singer and guitarist who describes herself as a 'musical time-traveler,' and that's a pretty good way to sum up what she does: she takes classic songs and gives them her own renditions, paying tribute to the music of the past by reimagining it rather than just playing it straight. The set is built around those reimagined classics, so you'll recognize the songs, but you'll hear them differently than you remember.

Frost handles both the singing and the guitar herself, and the whole thing is a solo performance. The set is part of the library's live music program, which is sponsored by the Lakeway Civic Corporation.
