Spank Communication, Paper Sister, and BS are playing Hole in the Wall on Sunday, August 23, as part of the KUTX Riley Reely Put You On Happy Hour Show. It's a triple bill with interviews mixed in, so you'll get to hear the artists talk as well as play.
The lineup brings together three acts in one night: Spank Communication, Paper Sister, and BS. Each gets their own slot, and the interviews run alongside the music, which is the whole point of the Put You On format. It's a KUTX presentation, so it's tied to the station's discovery series.
If you haven't spent much time there, Hole in the Wall is at 2538 Guadalupe St. It's one of the city's oldest live music venues, open since 1974, and it runs every night from 7 PM to close. Inside, there are two stages, a beer garden, and a pinball arcade, and it stays open Monday through Sunday from 3 PM to 2 AM. This particular night is a happy hour show, and admission is restricted to ages 21 and up.

Doors open at 6 PM, and the music starts at 7 PM. Entry is free, so you can just show up and hang out. Between the three bands and the interviews, there's plenty to keep you there for the evening.
