Live music performance by Henry Invisible at Guero's Taco Bar.
Henry Invisible plays Guero's Taco Bar on Friday, September 11, starting at 6 PM. It's a single-bill night, so the music is the main draw.
Guero's is a South Congress fixture, taking over the old Austin Seed & Feed building at the corner of South Congress and South First. It's one of those spots that's grown into a local institution without letting the food slip, and regulars can still have breakfast in the oak garden. The venue pairs live music with Tex-Mex, and it's picked up its share of accolades over the years: a Restaurant Poll win and a string of Best of Austin Critics Picks, including Best Chicken Taco in 1994, Best Roving Photographer in 1998, Best Place To Stargaze On The Avenue in 1997, and Best Tot Dancing in 2007.
