Acoustic folk singer Heather Miller performs a lunch show at Happy Chicks in support of HAAM Day, the world's largest one-day all-local music fest.
Heather Miller plays a lunch show at Happy Chicks on Tuesday, September 22, starting at 12 PM. It's part of HAAM Day, which is the world's largest one-day, all-local music fest and a three-time winner of 'Most Creative Event' at the Austin Music Awards. The day supports the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, so your attendance goes toward health care for the city's working musicians.
Miller is an acoustic folk singer who describes her work as 'songs of connection,' delivered in a coffeeshop confessional storytelling style. She's been living in Austin since 2015, and this is a solo setโjust her and the guitar. If you're not familiar with her discography, she's put out the Anchor EP in 2012, Ornaments & Memories in 2019, and Heather Miller Live at KOOP in 2020. Her debut album, Count it in Moons, came out in 2023 and hit #48 on the Folk DJ charts; it was also named one of Americana Highways' Favorite Albums of 2023.
