Grocery Bag performs at the Austin City Limits Music Festival 2026 in Zilker Park.
Grocery Bag play Zilker Park on Friday, October 2, as part of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. It's a local band playing one of the city's biggest stages, and they're doing it during a big year for the festival.
Grocery Bag is a four-piece psych-garage rock band that formed right here in Austin in 2022. They started as a collective of multi-instrumentalists who came together around a shared interest in pushing boundaries and exploring new sonic landscapes. Their sound channels the raw energy and DIY ethos of classic garage rock and infuses it with a modern psychedelic twist. It's that kind of music that works just as well in a small club as it does outdoors in a park.
They're playing as part of the 2026 Austin City Limits Music Festival, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The festival is running across two weekends at Zilker Park, with more than 100 performances spread over nine stages. The bill leans heavily into pop, alternative, electronic and indie acts, so Grocery Bag fits right into that mix of alternative and indie sounds. If you've been following them since they started a few years back, this is a chance to see them on a festival bill rather than a club date.
