Grains and Brains Trivia is back at Central Machine Works Brewery & Beer Hall tonight, Tuesday, August 18, from 8 PM to 10 PM. It's the brewery's weekly quizfest, and if you've never been, the name tells you exactly what's on the table: beer and trivia, served up in the same room.

Two things set this apart from your average bar quiz. First, the questions are challenging—this isn't a night for the casual observer. You'll want to bring a team that can handle a real stretch of their knowledge. Second, there's actual money on the line. The first-place team walks away with a $100 gift card, and second place takes home $50. It's a high-stakes format that turns a casual Tuesday night into a genuine competition.

Behind the mic are Bailey and Charlie, the brewery's pals who host the whole thing. They run the show every Tuesday, so if you miss this one, you can just come back next week. The venue is Central Machine Works Brewery & Beer Hall, located at 4824 East Cesar Chavez Street in Austin.
