A special IMAX screening of the 2016 musical La La Land, marking its 10th anniversary, as part of the Gosling in IMAX series at the Bullock Texas State History Museum.
The Paramount Theatre is bringing Ryan Gosling to the Bullock Texas State History Museum IMAX this month as part of Gosling in IMAX, a series of four Ryan Gosling blockbusters showing on the big screen. The first one is La La Land, which plays Monday, September 21, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
La La Land is the 2016 musical directed by Damien Chazelle, starring Gosling and Emma Stone as Sebastian and Mia, a jazz musician and an aspiring actress who fall in love while chasing their respective dreams in Los Angeles. This particular screening marks the film's 10th anniversary, and seeing it in IMAX gives the music and the colors a lot more room to breathe than they would on a smaller screen. The session runs about three hours, so it's a full evening's commitment.
It's worth keeping in mind that La La Land is just the start. The whole Gosling in IMAX series features four of his blockbusters, all presented by the Paramount Theatre at the Bullock IMAX, so if you're a fan, there are more to follow.
