Gauri B - Years in the Breaking

Gauri B brings her stand-up show Years in the Breaking to The Long Center on Friday, October 16, at 8 PM. It's an indoor performance at the Rollins Theatre, 701 W Riverside Dr, and everyone needs a ticket to get in.

If you haven't come across her yet, Gauri B is a stand-up who's spent years headlining comedy clubs and festivals across the globe. She's played the Leicester Square Theatre in London, WUK in Vienna, and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia, and her clips have racked up hundreds of millions of views on social media. That global reach has built her a following that stretches well beyond any one city.

Her style is fearless and unabashed, and she doesn't shy away from morbid subjects, which she hits with hard-hitting punchlines. Much of her material comes from politics and society, and she weaves in personal stories along the way. She's also known for her crowd work, so expect her to spend a good part of the night interacting with the audience rather than just sticking to a script.

Tickets run from $30 to $42, and the show starts at 8 PM at the Rollins Theatre inside The Long Center. If you're a member, there's hospitality available at the Member Welcome Center.
