The cast of the award-winning podcast Gals & Goblins present a live Dungeons & Dragons show where the audience may influence the story.
Gals & Goblins bring their Dungeons & Dragons live show to The VORTEX on Saturday, October 17, at 8 PM. The cast of the award-winning podcast—Campbell Duffy, Olivia Rose McCain, Lilly Percifield, and Jared VosWinkel—will play through a brand-new adventure on stage, making story-altering decisions on the spot and letting a roll of the dice decide their fate. The audience may even get to play a part in altering the players' destiny.
If you're not familiar with the podcast, it's an actual-play series that loosely follows the rules of Dungeons & Dragons and strictly follows the Rule of Cool. It's part of a movement to tell anyone previously excluded from the TTRPG community that they belong. The podcast itself follows a group of characters traversing the magical realm of Eldrivale on their way to Frogmont Adventuring Academy for Young Women, with plenty of shenanigans and friendship along the way. The live show takes that same energy and puts it in front of a crowd, with a seasoned cast of performers thrown into a story they're building in real time.

The evening is presented by GOBSMACKED and is pitched for fans of the podcast, Dungeons & Dragons devotees, and the D&D-curious. You don't need to be a veteran of the game to follow along—the whole point is watching the cast navigate the chaos as it happens. The show runs at The VORTEX, 2307 Manor Rd, Austin, TX 78722, on Saturday, October 17, starting at 8 PM.
