Austin Arts, Culture, Music, and Entertainment (ACME) is hosting an in-person workshop on the FY27 Elevate Grant and the FY27 Austin Live Music Fund on Thursday, August 13, at dadaLab. It's a session built for the people who actually make the work: artists, arts groups, professional musicians, and independent promoters. If you've been eyeing these grants but aren't sure where to start, this is exactly the kind of thing you want to show up for.
The workshop covers two separate funding streams. The Elevate Grant is one, and the Austin Live Music Fund is the other. ACME will walk through the guidelines for both, so you can see the requirements side by side and figure out which one—or both—fits what you're planning. From there, they'll take you through the application processes step by step, which is usually the part that feels the most daunting when you're staring at a blank screen.
The whole point of the night is to get you comfortable with how these programs work.
