Concert by Austin indie pop artist Elijah Delgado at the historic Antone's venue.
Elijah Delgado plays Antone's on Thursday, October 8, with the show starting at 8 PM. He's an Austin artist, and this is a solo bill—just him on the stage.
Delgado's musical life started early. He was seven when his father taught him three chords on an old acoustic guitar, and he grew up in a music-loving Austin home. He put out his debut EP, When I Was On Cloud 9, in January 2021 when he was 18, and followed it with the album Wherever You Go, There You Are. His sound sits across easy listening, indie pop, indie, and indie rock, so it's the kind of set that doesn't lean too hard in any one direction.
If you've followed him since that first EP, you've seen him move from those early recordings into the full-length Wherever You Go, There You Are. This show is a chance to hear that material live, with the easy listening and indie pop side of things taking center stage. It's a local name playing a local room, and the set is built around his own writing.
