Indie pop performance by Elijah Delgado as part of the HAAM Day showcase at Scholz Garten.
Elijah Delgado plays Scholz Garten on Tuesday, September 22, as part of a midday showcase. He's an Austin indie pop artist, and this is a free show, so it's an easy one to drop into if you're around downtown on a Tuesday afternoon.
Delgado isn't the only act on the bill. The showcase runs through the early afternoon with three sets in a row: Judy Blank starts at 12 PM, Elijah Delgado takes over at 1 PM, and Matthew Logan Vasquez follows at 2 PM. If you're coming for Delgado, you can arrive a bit early and catch the end of Blank's set, or hang around afterward for Vasquez. It's a three-hour stretch of live music, and since it's all in one place, you can see all three without moving your car.
The showcase is part of HAAM Day, a music festival presented by the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. HAAM is a nonprofit that provides health insurance and financial support to local musicians, and the organizers describe HAAM Day as a city-wide effort to support Austin artists and keep the local music scene sustainable. The day is staged at Scholz Garten, which is billed as the oldest tavern in Texas.

It's a midday show, so it's more of a lunch-hour thing than a night out. Delgado takes the stage at 1 PM, and entry is free.
