Country music concert featuring the Graham St. Clair Band as special guest and Eli Young Band headlining the Longhorn City Limits festival.
Graham St. Clair Band plays the LBJ Lawn at The University of Texas at Austin on Saturday, September 5, as part of Longhorn City Limits presented by Hollister. They're the special guest for the day, with Eli Young Band headlining.
If you haven't come across them yet, the Graham St. Clair Band is a Texas country outfit rooted in the rugged spirit of West Texas, fronted by vocalist and songwriter Graham St. Clair. They started at Baylor University as a fraternity jam band before evolving into a serious group drawing from modern torchbearers like Flatland Cavalry, Turnpike Troubadours, and Thieving Birds. Their debut album, Roaming Home, has passed 500,000 streams, and they've shared the stage with Randy Rogers Band, Shane Smith & The Saints, and Josh Abbott Band.
On stage, the lineup is rounded out by Jackson Cossey on drums and percussion, Jackson Wright on rhythm electric and acoustic guitar, Sean Douglas on lead electric guitar, and Stiles Clements on pedal steel. The pedal steel, in particular, is a good marker of where they sit—right in that Texas country and Americana pocket.
