BookPeople presents a young adult book signing with author Dusti Bowling for her novel The Drowning Game, featuring a conversation moderated by Adrianna Cuevas.
Dusti Bowling will be at BookPeople on Saturday, October 24, for a conversation and signing around her new novel, The Drowning Game. The event starts at 6 PM on the second floor of the bookstore, 603 North Lamar Boulevard in Austin.
The Drowning Game is an award-winning thriller set on Arizona's Salt River, and the evening is built around it. Bowling will be in conversation with Adrianna Cuevas, a middle school ESOL teacher living just outside Austin, who'll moderate the discussion. The talk runs 45 to 60 minutes, followed by a signing line where you can get your copy autographed. If you want a signed book, you'll need to buy a copy of The Drowning Game or another item of equal value from BookPeople to get in that line.
Bowling is a bestselling author with a long list of accolades behind her. She wrote Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus and the Aven Green chapter book series, and her work has picked up the Reading the West Award, the Sakura Medal, a Golden Kite Honor, and the William Allen White Children's Book Award. Her books have been nominated for more than fifty state awards. She lives in Eagar, Arizona, with her husband, three daughters, and a fair number of farm animals.
