Dungeons & Drafthouse - Raiders on the Red Water

Dungeons & Drafthouse is back at The Highball on Sunday, July 19, with a new one-shot adventure called Raiders on the Red Water. If you've never heard of it, the premise is pretty straightforward: it's a single-session Dungeons & Dragons game led by a professional Dungeon Master. You show up, play through a complete story in one afternoon, and leave when it's done—no long-term commitment or ongoing campaign to keep track of.

That's the whole point of the one-shot format. You don't need to have a group already lined up or a character you've been building for months. The professional DM handles the heavy lifting, running the story and the rules, so you can just focus on playing. It's designed to be accessible, which is why the series is pitched for both first-time players and D&D veterans. If you've never rolled a twenty-sided die in your life, this is a low-stakes way to see what the game is about; if you've been playing for years, it's a chance to jump into a new world for a few hours without having to commit to a multi-year campaign.

Raiders on the Red Water is part of the larger Dungeons & Drafthouse series, which runs once a month.
