Dungeons & Dragons Night

Pinballz Lake Creek opens its Club Room every Monday for Dungeons & Dragons Night, a recurring spot for players of all levels to get together and roll. It's a wide-open tent: they welcome everyone from people cracking open their first Player's Handbook to battle-hardened heroes who've been running campaigns for years. If you've never played before, this is a low-stakes way to jump in.

The night is built around one-shot specials run by the venue's own Dungeon Master, so you can drop in for a single session without committing to a long-term story. There's also a themed menu and themed drinks to go with the mood. If you've already got a group, you can bring your own campaign or start a new one in the laid-back space, which makes it a good place to meet other players. Newcomers are welcome, and bringing your own dice is encouraged.

It runs every Monday from 6 PM until close at Pinballz Lake Creek, 13729 Research Blvd in Austin. Entry is free and no RSVP is required, so you can just show up when you're ready to play.
