Doughboys Podcast is coming to Cap City Comedy Club on Thursday, November 19, for a special appearance in the Red Room. The show is hosted by Mike Mitchell and Nick Wiger, the two voices behind the iHeartRadio award-winning Best Food Podcast, which has been featured on Good Morning America and The Simpsons.

If you've never heard of them, the premise is simple: Mitchell and Wiger are longtime frenemies who review chain restaurants and bicker about pretty much everything else. They've had guests like Chris Pratt, Sarah Silverman, and Nicole Byer on the show, so the banter is the main draw here. It's a food podcast, but the food is mostly the excuse for the two of them to argue.

There's a bit of a regional rivalry baked into the whole thing. Mike Mitchell is an actor, comedian, and cat dad to Wolly and Irma, originally from Quincy, Massachusetts—the birthplace of Dunkin' Donuts. His credits include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Tomorrow War, and Twisted Metal. Nick Wiger, whose name rhymes with tiger, is a writer, director, and game designer from Lakewood, California—the birthplace of Denny's. He also co-hosts the video game podcast Get Played. The East Coast versus West Coast thing runs through a lot of what they do.

They're playing two shows that night: the 7 PM to 9 PM slot is already sold out, so your best bet is the late show, which runs 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Cap City is an 18+ comedy club, so keep that in mind if you're bringing anyone younger.
